500 Years Later: The Body of Saint Teresa of Ávila Is Still Intact! Here’s Why
Saint Teresa of Ávila Was Exhumed After More Than 500 Years… and What Was Discovered Left Everyone Speechless!
Her body is still intact, defying every law of nature and challenging science. A miracle? A sign from God?
On August 28, 2024, at the Monastery of the Annunciation of Our Lady in Alba de Tormes, the tomb of the great mystic and reformer of the Carmelite Order was reopened. Before the astonished eyes of scientists, religious figures, and witnesses, her body was found free of decomposition, with her features still recognizable and her hands intact.
How is this possible? What does it mean?
