Filmed Live in Israel: the Madonna’s Warning That Came True
In February 2014, in northern Israel, a statue of the Virgin Mary began to weep oil — and the ones who filmed it, live, were the international secular TV crews, who came certain they’d expose a trick. They never found one. This is the true story of the weeping oil statue of Tarshiha, of the Khoury family, of the three words left to Amira — “Do not be afraid” — and of what happened in that same town years later.
In a single week, some 2,000 people reached that small living room: Christians, Muslims and Druze, kneeling side by side, before an oil that kept returning even after the statue was wiped dry. The footage ran on evening newscasts around half the world. But the real mystery isn’t the oil: it’s that message, and the chilling meaning it seemed to take on in December 2022, when the Maronite Christian community center in Ma’alot-Tarshiha — the very same town — was found destroyed, its sacred images defaced.
A story about faith, Marian miracles, and persecuted Christians in the Holy Land and the Middle East. No special effects: only what happened, and what dozens of witnesses reported.
