Fulton Sheen: Here’s Who the Antichrist Is Today — His Prophetic Words
In 1947, on American radio, Fulton Sheen described how the Antichrist would present himself: not with the face of evil, but as a “great humanitarian” who speaks of peace, prosperity and plenty, and who keeps one great secret: he will not believe in God. In this video you will hear the original recording of the broadcast “Signs of Our Times” (The Catholic Hour, January 26, 1947), in Sheen’s own voice.
Who was Fulton Sheen? Why do his words about the Antichrist, the counter-church and the signs of the times seem to describe our own days? And what does the Church really teach about the final trial before Christ’s return? We compared the words of Venerable Fulton Sheen with the Catechism of the Catholic Church (§ 675) and with the Gospel.
